Alexander Sadlo was born in Slovakia in 1927. He studied painting in Prague and emigrated to Australia in 1949 where he produced rich,
colourful figurative designs and optical futuristic effects on canvas.
Since 1972, Alex has lived in England and achieved international acclaim with his paintings and vitreous enamels.
